Prince Kūhiō Park was established in 1924 as a monument to Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole, a Koloa native who fought endlessly for Hawaiians and the Hawaiian culture. It is a significant part of Hawaiian history as it is the birthplace of Prince Kuhio. The park is located on the south shore of Kauai and offers incredible views of the ocean. At the park, you'll find a crescent-shaped rock wall with a saltwater fish pond, an old stone foundation that are the remains of Prince Kuhio's home he was born, and the Ho'ai Heiau.
