OUTCLEANING CHARGES: As you will note below, outclean charges vary with the size of the unit. When you depart. a professional cleaning service comes to wash the balance of linens and towels and prepare for the next visitors. We expect the rental unit to be left in a “neat” condition. These charges are subject to change because of incremental price increases of the cleaning staff.
DEPOSITS: A security/damage deposit is required within 10 days of your reservation, If deposit is not received within 10 days, your reservation will automatically cancel. Refunds are after departure in most instances (there are some properties where we must wait up to 45 days for the phone bills to be verified) less extraordinary cleaning. missing items, long distance charges or any damages that exceed normal wear and tear.
CANCELLATIONS: Notification of cancellation must be received at least 60 days prior to your planned arrival. (120 days notification from December 15 through January 15). All cancellations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. A cancellation notification of less than 60 days (120 days during holiday season) results in forfeiture of full rent, Guests are responsible for the entire time booked . No rental refunds are given for early departure or late cancellation.
OCCUPANCY: Occupancy is limited to number of confirmed guests . Weddings, receptions, luaus, or parties of any kind are strictly prohibited.
PAYMENT: All properties will require full payment 60-days prior to arrival (120-days during holiday season). Payment to be made by cash, personal, business, or travelers checks. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS. A service charge of $25 will be assessed on all checks returned from your financial institution. Our office is open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday-Friday. LATE CHECK-OUTS: are subject to availability, charges, and requires at least 72 hours notice.
CHECK-IN TIME IS 3:00 P.M. CHECK-OUT TIME IS 10:00 A.M.
KEYS AND DIRECTIONS: The key to your vacation accommodations is located in the lockbox. (Location will be provided with confirmation letter.) The combinations to the lockbox, written directions and a map to your specific unit will be mailed to you along with your confirmation letter prior to arrival. All properties are located in sunny Poipu, Kauai and are fully-equipped .
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Please note that any questions, concerns or problems should be addressed to Garden Island Rentals as soon as possible. Any issues not brought to our attention in a timely manner while you are on island, cannot be addressed after your departure.
