The chef(s) in your group will greatly appreciate the well equipped kitchen. They may even want to venture out to one of our Farmer’s Markets for some fresh local produce to include in one of their tropical culinary creations. Enjoy the tropical breezes and fragrant scents from the multiple seating and dining areas on the expansive, wrap around lanai that offers panoramic ocean, mountain and coastline views.

Feel like you are on top of the world as this home is located at the highest point in Poipu on the top rim of an extinct crater that overlooks the Poipu Resort area. Although it may be difficult to leave this lovely home for more than hour, you are within walking distance to 3 of Kauai’s finest beaches: Shipwreck Beach to the East (best for experienced swimmers and surfers), Brenneckes Beach and Poipu Beach Park to the West.

4 bedroom main home bedrooms are located on the first floor of the two story home. Second floor of main home is kitchen, dining room, living room and large wrap around lanai on north west facing portion. Additional two bedrooms is located in the fully equipped 1,000 square foot guest cottage (Ohana unit as we say on Kauai), offering accommodations for an additional 4 guests. Located directly behind Hale Hapuna, this cottage is included in the 6 bedroom rate. Please inquire for further details.

It is also possible to just rent the main 4 bedroom home! Please inquire for details and pricing.

Amenities include: 2 private outdoor showers, WiFi, BBQ, Washer & Dryer and Air Conditioning in the main home bedrooms only. No AC in the guest home.

My large family just spent a week in this beautiful home. The spacious upstairs and bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms made it really convenient for everyone. A few things: the guest house does get a bit warm during the day, but it's easy to cool down at nighttime with open windows and fans. The upstairs of the main house stays pretty cool because of the massive amounts of windows and a constant breeze. The blinds throughout the house/guest house are not blackout by any means, and let all the light through, so just be prepared. There was also a panel missing in the master bedroom of the guest house (so not much privacy there). The WiFi extender was broken (probably very recently) in the guest house, but I'm sure they've fixed that now. Regardless, the stay was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies (we cooked a lot). The fridge has filtered water/ice. All the beach items were extremely helpful. And of course, the view is absolutely worth it.

14 of us stayed in this beautiful home. We chose it because of it's location and the common space for all 14 of us to assemble. The views from the top floor were amazing. Anyone renting must be able to do stairs. The place was very clean. We would most definitely rent this place again.

We have a large family of 14, composed of mostly adult kids and spouses. This home was perfect for our family. We especially enjoyed the spacious upstairs, basically one large family room with various areas for games, TV, reading or sitting, and dining, so we could spend time all together. The kitchen is well-equipped and modern. The balcony is fantastic, with beautiful wrap-around views of both the mountains and the ocean, including sunset views. Close proximity to beach. Would definitely rent again!

Great for large family reunions!

We had a incredible time in the full stocked home. Every last detail was accounted for and we were always able to find what we needed. This is perfect for families and large groups. The living area is all upstairs and the bedrooms are downstairs so it is perfect for people who want to entertain upstairs while the kids are asleep downstairs etc.. The views are incredible. The beach is a short walk and the home is also fully stocked with beach toys, towels, chairs, and boogie boards.

From the moment I drove up to this house to the moment I drove away from this house, it was an amazing experience. The GIR team is very friendly and helpful. HH is amazing from the huge bedroom with A/C to the huge entertainment/dining/kitchen on the top floor. Every morning I have a 180 view of Poipu beach + Napali Mt + Sleeping Giant Mt from the expansive deck. Cleaniness of this place is top notch...very very well maintained. You can beat the number of bathrooms at this house. If I have to complain about something, it would be the fact that HH only has 5 wine glasses and the deck lounger's cushions are a bit old. When I return to Kauai, I would definitely stay at Hale Hapuna.
